In-person is so much better
Building in-person circles and help with approaching strangers.
Hey— Craig here! Long time, no see!
See, I told you I wouldn’t spam you when you gave me your email. 😅 (It’s been a whiiiile)
(EMAIL TL;DR: 🟣A quick life update, 🟣then I give a strategy for building a new social circle, 🟣 and announce an exciting in-person coaching event[s])
I still teach social skills.
I haven’t been able to make charisma content as much as much as I should.. in fact, in 2025, my life got turned upside-down.
Long story short, I moved from the New York City metro back to my rural hometown in California to help with my dying Grandfather, and now I’ve been swamped with enacting his will and getting his family’s ducks in a row. I got hit with a devastating breakup after some long distance that completely obliterated all future family plans. I was floating without purpose, and I’m still not finished grieving it all.
That said, I’ve still been teaching my Social Skills MasterClass and other classes at Jaunty: The gym for social skills, and building a new social network with in-person events like meetups, game nights, parties, and hikes… which brings me to:
How to build a real-life social circle.

I just posted this video describing a strategy for building a social circle from scratch after going in a deep dive on this strategy in one of my classes. I’ve used this strategy every time I moved to a new place, and built a tight group of friends within a couple months.
The video is 5 minutes long, so I’ll break it down…
How to build a social circle from scratch in 5 simple steps:
Have a social calendar (2 days a week of social activities minimum)
Meet and invite people to your outings.
Introduce people you’ve invited to each other. This builds a web of relationships that strengthens your connection to each individual.
Benefit from new friends reciprocating by introducing you to more people.
You have become the leader of a social circle. Now invite them all to brunch or something.
The only thing you need to do now, is execute.
How else can I help you?
My favorite type of work is in-person. The reality is, there’s only so much you can do from a video or on a Zoom call… and when it comes to social skills, that’s a no brainer.
Fun fact: Based on the work of Dr. Albert Mehrabian back in the day, we know that 55% of communication is based on body language and physical presence.
And there’s nothing like meeting people in person… so:

I can be your wingman!
📖 Early Registration ends January 31st at 6pm PT. Late Registration ends February 6th 6pm PT.

Tentative schedule while things are getting booked.
If you have interest in registering for sessions between Wednesday Feb 11th and Monday Feb 16th, please reply to this email, and we can have a call or I can send you a registration link/more info.
This is a pilot to see if there’s enough interest and if it’s a logistically viable. Many of my alumni students are in the Bay Area, and some have been asking for coaching for a long time.
If this works well, I can repeat it and do things in other cities.
Can’t go, but want to?👀
Take 1 minute to fill out this form and tell me you’d like me to come to you. If I receive enough interest, I could meet you in person, and show you what being socially connected is all about! 😉
Thanks for reading.
Talk to you soon. See you online… and maybe in person.
Cheers,
Craig Ethan Gibbons
