Here's my story. Is it your story too?

Hey! Craig here—

“If someone wrote a book about your life, would anybody read it?”

I always thought about that for myself, but never truly took a look at it beyond thinking, “That’s a cool quote. Sounds badass.” I pulled that one out in a few conversations over the years, and it always got some good responses– all in the vain of “Oh that IS a cool quote!”

But last year my life changed forever

When I picked up this book– The Hero With a Thousand Faces– and this book is about the greatest story ever told, and why it’s the greatest story ever told. (I’m not gonna spoil it!)

Me holding my new favorite book.

While reading this book, I began on an amazing journey of self-development.

I’m more connected to my mind, body and spirit now than I have been since I don’t know when. 😊

And I realized that I’ve been doing my work— using evidence-based based practices for teaching Social Intelligence skills— for over 11 years. I’ve been honing my craft and learning as much as I could about social intelligence through personal experience.

And I realized that what I had feared for a long time was happening– As a society, we’ve reached a tipping point in the increase in social anxiety and levels of depression and anxiety.

This time last year, in Feb 2023, a report came out that nearly 50% of people 18-24 (Gen Z) have Anxiety or Depression. And 1 in 3 adults has it.

And I believe it’s been going in that direction for a long time.

Social media and phone use had taken over every aspect of our lives

And then the pandemic hit, and I was watching very intently.

Every person that comes to my workshops or meets with me because they clicked on an ad for Jaunty which promised the ability to improve social skills or defeat social anxiety.

I saw it coming. The pandemic really accelerated everything. The pandemic affected me too. I was lucky that I have the skills to make friends even during a time when people are afraid of being around others.

Even the people who could do that were eventually affected by the psychosocial and cultural changes that took place.

The pandemic did a number on me too.

The shutdowns all but destroyed my business– my passion and my livelihood. We went from operating 3 bustling offices to just working from home, and it’s been a slow struggle to get back to where it used to be.

And the people that I meet for work or even while I’m out have so much more social anxiety and social avoidance than ever before.

It’s becoming a major problem, and I don’t think anything in the world is really making it better on a large scale.

And even though my social life is not necessarily like those of the people I meet

I remember what it feels like…

…to be on the other side of social anxiety and disconnection.

I used to be afraid to speak up.

I used to be afraid of risking getting rejected by someone I liked.

I used to roll over passively and not speak up when people were walking all over me.

And I remember how painful it is to feel like you don’t have a voice.

To feel alone.

Until I found my mentors and learned that there was another way to operate in the world.

And learned that my ability to connect with people is something I could improve with practice.

And that the social anxiety I experienced was just temporary.

And now I’ve grown to a level where I’ve coached over 5,000 people to improve their social skills and gain confidence in what they do socially.

I looked in the mirror and realized that I became the Hero of MY social life.

And in that moment, I decided to cement the next step of my personal path in life. 😏

In order I could pursue a cause that I believe is worth fighting, I threw away the security of the corporate dayjob that I was forced to get in 2021.

In the weeks and months to come, I built multiple communities— online and in person— and started making viral TikTok content so that I could make a connection with the community that I’m building.

And if you’re still reading this, I’m talking about you. I am in YOUR inbox because I want to help you be the HERO of your own life.

To live in a world where you’re comfortable and even enjoy talking to strangers. Where you feel the support of community and close relationships.

A world where you can be the social hero you’ve always wanted to be.

But…

I must warn you– if it is something you truly want, you must know that the path to your social transformation is treacherous!

It will require you to face your fears

And challenge what you believe.

The greatest danger for you has yet to fully reveal itself…

It’s sitting just under the surface. It’s laid its traps within your subconscious, distracting you from the connections you could be making when you’re at your fullest potential.

And one day, if nothing is done about it, it will snatch you up, and and eat you whole, cutting off your ability to experience the world for its true beauty.

The beauty of your total enjoyment and harmony in life through relationship and connection.

But if we team up, you’ll be able to get to the other side

And feel total freedom.

I can help you get there, but you will need to commit to your own personal development.

If you don’t, you’ll be doomed to fall into the vortex of PSYCHO-SOCIAL CATASTROPHE along with the rest of the world.

Not to be dramatic or anything. 😉

You saw the chart. You see what’s going on in the world and in your life. In your heart, you know the truth.

And if you’re ready to start your Hero’s Journey with me, the call to adventure will not wait much longer.

I’ve been hard at work on a program that I am going to campaign to 25,000 of my contacts at Jaunty (The gym for social skills)….

But since you’ve supported me in my TikTok nonsense, I want to give you the first opportunity to learn about it!

So be on the lookout for some emails coming to your inbox in the next week.

See you soon.

Craig
